Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of ScenePilot: the website, the desktop app and the cloud studio. By creating an account or using ScenePilot you agree to them. Questions: hello@scenepilot.tech.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details private; you're responsible for what happens under your account. You must be at least 13, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live. Beta keys and invitations are personal and may not be shared or resold.

Your content

You own the scripts, voiceovers and uploads you bring, and the videos ScenePilot makes for you. You give us permission to process them only to provide the service: planning, rendering, storing and delivering your videos. You must have the right to use anything you upload.

Footage, images and music in your videos

ScenePilot finds footage and images from stock libraries and other sources, and shows the source on screen where credit is required. Some material may carry its own licence terms or third-party rights. Review your video before publishing, and replace any clip you aren't comfortable using. You are responsible for how you publish and monetise your videos.

Acceptable use

Don't use ScenePilot to make content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, sexually exploits anyone, impersonates real people deceptively, or infringes others' rights. Don't try to break, overload, reverse-engineer or resell the service. We may suspend accounts that do.

Credits, plans and payment

Films are paid for with credits or included in your plan. Prices are shown before you buy. Credits aren't cash and can't be transferred. If a film fails because of a problem on our side, we return its credits. Subscriptions renew until cancelled; you can cancel any time, and it stops at the end of the period you've paid for.

Storage

Finished cloud videos are kept for 30 days unless your plan includes longer storage; we email you before deletion. Download anything you want to keep.

Beta

ScenePilot is in beta. Features may change, and occasional errors or downtime can happen. We work to fix problems quickly, but the service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, ScenePilot isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

Ending

You can stop using ScenePilot and close your account at any time. We may end or suspend access if these terms are broken. The sections on your content, liability and this ending section continue after that.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll update the date above and tell account holders by email before it takes effect.
